On creation of the Republican Corporation \u201cTelevision and Radio of Kazakhstan\u201d.<\/p>\n

In order to enhance the creative and technical level of the television and radio programs, improve the system of television and radio broadcasting management, develop a single informational space of Kazakhstan, enable the integration into the global information processes, strengthen the material and technical base and coordinate the research activities in the sphere of television and radio, as well as to create the optimal conditions for investments into the industry, I decree:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Create the Republican Corporation named \u201cTelevision and Radio of Kazakhstan\u201d (\u201cRKTRK\u201d) within the creative and production units of \u201cKazakhstan\u201d State TV and Radio Company acting under the aegis of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as other enterprises and organizations being its members on the voluntary basis.<\/li>\n
  2. Establish that the President of the Republican Corporation \u201cTelevision and Radio of Kazakhstan\u201d shall be appointed by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.<\/li>\n
  3. Liquidate \u201cKazakhstan\u201d State TV and Radio Company acting under the aegis of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the legislatively specified procedure.<\/li>\n
  4. To the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
    \n– Form the Liquidation Committee. The costs associated with the liquidation of \u201cKazakhstan\u201d State TV and Radio Company shall be covered by the additional funds allocated from the Republican budget;
    \n– Within two months approve the Regulation \u201cOn the Republican Corporation \u201cTelevision and Radio of Kazakhstan\u201d;
    \n– Take measures to strengthen the material and technical base of the Corporation.<\/li>\n
  5. To the State Committee on the State Property of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
    \n– Transfer as a contribution to the Corporation on behalf of the State the rights of ownership, utilization and management to the state property of the creative and production units, enterprises and organizations being part of the liquidated \u201cKazakhstan\u201d State TV and Radio Company;
    \n– Within two months develop and approve a package of constituent documents for the Republican Corporation \u201cTelevision and Radio of Kazakhstan\u201d.<\/li>\n
  6. State administration bodies, heads of regional administrations as well as heads of Almaty and Lenin city administrations shall assist in prompt solving of problems related to the activities of the Corporation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication.<\/p>\n
