[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The global media attack on my family was launched with a small Swiss German-language newspaper reporting fake news that the Krapunov family had a fortune of 300 mln Swiss francs.<\/p>\n

This was a lie, my family\u2019s capital was much more modest, having been earned legitimately over 25 years of uninterrupted work and business activities.<\/p>\n

The journalist who had this fake story about the Khrapunovs\u2019 capital published in the newspaper quit the job literally the next day after its publication and promptly left Switzerland, allegedly settling in Latin America.<\/p>\n

Based on this fake story, which president Nazarbayev-controlled Kazakhstan were quick to pick up, Bilan magazine included the Khrapunov family in the list of Switzerland\u2019s wealthiest families with a fortune of USD300 million.<\/p>\n

After the matter had been looked into impartially, Bilan struck the Khrapunovs off the richest Swiss residents\u2019 list.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But Kazakhstan newspapers and websites which started referring to Bilan\u2019s information in 2009, have kept doing so to this day.<\/p>\n

Since president Nazarbayev\u2019s middle daughter, Dinara Koulibayeva, applied for a residence permit in Switzerland, she has every year appeared in the rankings of Switzerland\u2019s wealthiest women with a capital of 2.4 billion Swiss francs.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row padding_top=”20″][vc_column col_bg_color=”bg-color”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Dinara Koulibayeva is not being persecuted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of the Republic of Kazakhstan Government Service Affairs and Corruption Control Agency (Anti-Corruption Service) because, being president Nazarbayev\u2019s daughter, she is protected by the Law on the Republic of Kazakhstan\u2019s First President.
\nThe relevant amendment to the Republic of Kazakhstan Constitution was initiated by the incumbent president Nazarbayev, who must have been well aware of the corruption-generated component in his family\u2019s multibillion fortunes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
